Listen up to these two sets of incredible musicians, Wolf Gang… and Ivan & Alyosha.
Wolf Gang (Max McElligott) is an extremely talented musician that hails from London, England (from whom my school’s city steals its name). He don’t have much about them online, not much biography-wise or what not, but all i can say is that i love his song, Lions In Cages, which is a ridiculously perfect song. It combines great sounds from the piano, to the high hat-based percussion and all the way over to the what sounds like a flute. Not only that, but the intro to the song really reminds me of Michael Jackson’s Earth Song, which is up there in my top 10 songs of all time. This song as a whole, however, brings back tastes of MGMT, but with much stronger vocals and a more melancholic feel, which just makes me happy!

Next up is Ivan & Alyosha, a Seattle, Washington band who have played in such incredible music festivals like SXSW (which i dream of going to) and are really a special band who more people should know about. Although this duo is pretty well known on the west coast and elsewhere in N. America, I would love to see them explode onto the itunes of everyone here! Their song, Living for Someone is just a serene, laid back song that works for anyday, at any time during it and is just a pleasure to listen to. Oh how brilliant Ryan Carbary and Tim Wilson are! They struck gold!
