Gorilla Warfare Tactics is making their debut with their first single Temptations. Personally knowing these guys, they’ve been hard at work for months perfecting their music and pulling from all musical inspirations. They’ve got a smooth feel and create quality music that provides a fresh, crisp feel, shaking up the realms of hip-hop.
Lyrically, Kid Dilla is on point with lines that make you stop and think to drink some cabernet, played over a homegrown beat with a Common sample produced by CakeXCrumbs. They’ve got much more yet to come, with a video dropping soon as well as a mixtape.
They’ve already made an impact all over the music blogosphere and aren’t stopping anytime soon. Expect more feel good music in the future, as The Pastry Brothers (credit: Johnny Dukane from UMass) and Kid Dilla will be at it again.
