First, check out our original post on Grizzly Bear that came out in the wee stages of Thisbonustrack’s infancy.
Second, check out my guest post for The SF Critic, one of my favorite blogs out there on the internet!
Just at the end of 2010, the critically acclaimed movie Blue Valentine was released. Ya, its got Michelle Williams and Ryan Gosling and an 8/10 rating on IMDB (my homepage, yes i am also a movie fanatic too), but the most intriguing part of the movie is the soundtrack, which was done completely by the awesome band Grizzly Bear, save three tracks including one done by Ryan Gosling, himself. Ya, this soundtrack is not Veckatimest, but the overall feel of this album is more composed because of the “theme” that it was based on.
