E-Dubble – Written Thursday preview

I am serious when i say that Fridays used to mean Freestyle Friday… not TGIF or G.O.O.D Fridays or any other exclamation of sorts.  My Fridays belonged to the man known as E-Dubble.

Although the whole year of Freestyle Fridays is over and done with, i still cant stop playing the majority of them!  Sampling tunes like Miike Snow’s Animal, to Lykke Li’s I Follow Rivers, to the theme song of Parks and Recreations (my favorite TV show), to Pachobel’s Cannon.  Seriously the list goes on to classics like Tom Petty and modern favorites of mine like Broken Bells and Jónsi.

In his home-made studio, Evan Wallace has been tearing up my iTunes play counts and seriously has like 16 songs in my top 100.  This Tuesday, the 22nd of February, his new mixtape is going to drop, although i’m not an official sponsor, i am endorsing it as best i can!  Truth.

Here is a bit of a teaser/behind the scenes of E-dubble making the mixtape……. DRUNK. My favorite kind of person!

Also, here are a couple of my favorite Freestyle Friday tracks that were among those released over the last year.

About Pooch

Pooch is the essence of satire and was formerly raised by wolves, ala Remus e Romulus. His ranking on the music-pretentiousness scale is the equivalent to the ego of an Italian soccer player.
