Yesterday The Morning Benders released a brand new EP. Lucky for us, not only did the release include two brand new tracks and a six remixes, all of the EP’s proceeds go directly to the Japan Society’s Earthquake Relief Fund. According to the band’s website,
“This EP was put together to support Japan in light of the horrific disaster that has take place there.”
With a special connection to Japan; lead singer, Chris Chu was born there, the band was truly looking forward to their first show in Tokyo, scheduled for just last week. I’ve donated and given the album a good listen and all I can say is I’m craving a new album. Donations can easily be made on the band’s website, TheMorningBenders.com. I’d encourage any fan to make a small contribution to the Japanese relief efforts, receiving some great music in return (what could be better?). In addition, I must thank my friend Eela for informing me about the EP!
Two of my favorite tracks off the EP are brand new track, Better In Blue and the Star Slinger Remix of Promises. Donate Here!
