Vetiver-The Errant Charm

Although the weather in Toronto hasn’t been too great lately it hasn’t stopped my anticipation of summer. Over the next little bit, i’ll be bringing you bands and artists who I feel epitomize the sounds of the summer. Vetiver is an American folk band i’ve been meaning to post for quite sometime.

Fronted by talented vocalist Andy Cabic, the group is set to release their fifth album in the middle of June. The name of the album is The Errant Charm and the band’s single Can’t You Tell is as good a summer song as i’ve heard in a while.

If you don’t know the band, take some time and enjoy a couple tracks off their 2009 album Tight Knit. Among my favorites are the tracks Everybody and Through The Front Door, both of which will have you feeling great for summer.
