Every so often I get the chance to feature a group that I truly admire and enjoy for the first time on ThisBonusTrack.com. Fanfarlo, as many of you know is a London-based indie-folk that gained critical acclaim for their debut album entitled Reservoir.

Although I didn’t intent to make this article a review of Reservoir, I’ll note that the album is a must have for an indie music lover’s iTunes library. (You can purchase the album by clicking on the iTunes link:  ). As a whole the album is a warm, colourful and instrumentally eclectic, representing an impressive starting point for the young band.

Fast forward to 2011, I am pleased to share with you a single off of the band’s (unnamed) forthcoming sophomore album set to be released in early 2012. Given the name Replicate, my first impressions of the song weren’t to great, but it has grown on me after a few listens.

If you’ve listened to Reservoir before, you will definitely sense that the band has taken a darker approach to the track and possibly the album as a whole. In addition the song, check out the official music video for Replicate right below!
