Short, but sweet.. today’s Sample Sunday is of course dedicated to one of my favorite Christmas Songs – Snoop Dogg’s Santa Claus Goes Straight To The Ghetto, featuring Daz Dillinger, Nate Dogg, Tray Deee and Bad Azz. The track is from the Christmas Compilation album that Death Row Records released in 1996 entitled Christmas On Death Row. The Snoop Doggy Dogg produced track samples from Isaac Hayes’ 1971 Do Your Thing, from his soundtrack album for the movie Shaft.
