Classical: the next frontier, the music that some of us think, ‘I’ll like that maybe when I’m older.’ No! It’s here.
Lets say, I don’t know, your special friend comes over. Flip to some Italian Opera and you’re golden (it’s better when do you know what they’re singing about).

Or lets say you just hung out with your good friend Mary Jane and you want to relax a bit. Perfect, classical’s got you.

Your boyfriend comes over. He breaks up with you. (Sorry)

Hey,
first i like this blog, thanx for sharing!
I just wanna correct you, O fortuna is from Carl Orff, not Mozart!
Thanks Pierrick! Changed it. Thanks for liking our site!
Hi Chadwick,
good words! It’s now and it’s in effect. “O Fortuna” is by Carl Orff, though (from the composition “Carmina Burana”). Also it is an interesting question whether the Bocelli Song is actually classical music or just a song in classical style.
For a stunning Mozart – incredibly sad but not hopeless – try his Lacrimosa
For a touching song one should listen to this Puccini: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_S77Ckqqt08
(Puccini is actually always very cinematic, has been a dandy and practically made movie scores in his operas)
For a lifted spirit I also love this one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZhN0RRlLhDg
Good to see our readers are very much receptive to classical music. Nessun Dorma was beautiful. Hope you keep reading our posts!
