Looking to brighten up your day? I think i’ve got a solution for you. His name is Langhorne Slim, and while many of you will know him, I invite you to take this opportunity to revisit an old friend. Though there is one relatively new Slim track I would like to showcase, first let me draw your attention back to his third album, Be Set Free, released a couple years ago.

With song’s including I Love You, But Goodbye and Land of Dreams, I can’t help but draw a strong comparison to one of my all time favorites, Cat Stevens.

Similarly to Cat Stevens, Langhorne Slim provides a soothing blend of folk, rock, blues and country, making for enjoyable easy listening music. So if you’re yearning for a 21^st Cat Stevens, or just dam good music, Slim is your man.
