In a few days, the Coachella music festival will begin in California, and among the mass number of bands set to perform is Other Lives, an indie group from Oklahoma that is quickly rising to fame. Formed in 2004, Other Lives has released a number of albums to date and has gained attention through its touring with talents such as S. Carey, Bon Iver, and most recently, Radiohead. If you’re lucky enough to be in the area, I suggest keeping your eyes out for this band’s spot in the lineup.
Last year, Other Lives’ most recent album “Tamer Animals” was released, and so far the songs “For 12,” “Dustbowl III,” and “Tamer Animals” are my favourite. The band’s debut album “Other Lives” released in 2009 is equally impressive and also contains a number of tracks that are worth listening to. Check them out below!
