There’s something very tragic about the music of Australian indie band The Middle East. Formed in 2005, The Middle East released three EPs and two full-length albums before cutting their career short in 2011 for what can only be referred to as unknown personal reasons. With a strong fanbase who are pulling for their return to the indie music scene, all that we can do is hope that this talented band will re-group and continue to make amazing music together someday.
Until then, we are lucky enough to have the music that they did release, which is extremely beautiful and unique; and even though it reminds us of the potential lost, we cannot help but enjoy it. So take a listen and cross your fingers that The Middle East will make a return in the near future.
